In an attempt to meet the targets imposed by central Government to reduce carbon emissions the Council recently reduced the period of heating cover provided to tenants from 24 to 18 hours a day - however, after listening to residents concerns, the Council have responsed by restoring heating provision from 18 hours a day back to 24. 

 

Well done Councillor Stacy for a taking a brave decision - i would like to think this was not so much a U-Turn, but a fine example of what can be done by listening to the views of residents.
